Half empty or half full?

Well I busted 5 off the money in the £5k WSOPE PLO. Don't think I have ever been as gutted after a tourney than I was yesterday - not just because I didn't make the money but because there were several times in the tournament where I was simply out classed.

I was beating myself up a bit about it then I thought 'Wait a sec'. I was playing in the hardest field ever assembled for a PLO tourney. I was one of the younger players in it and other than Durrrr I am not sure if anyone younger went deeper.

It's not as if I didn't see Noah Boeken/William Thorson and the list goes on, make massive blunders for their chip stacks. I learned a lot from the tourney and I figure there's no point getting too down about it. I just have to work harder on my game.

So after the initial disappointment, I think all in all I've had to view it as a very positive experience.

Doing about $20k for the week and have no intentions in trying to grind it back. I'm just going to chill out this weekend. I have a new plan poker-wise for the next week but I will tell you all about that on Monday.

Yeah John you did yourself proud considering that field. It read like a who's who of PLO.
