No complaints!!??

Recently poker has been going really well for me. I have played quite a lot in the last month, about 35/40 hours on average a week. Around three weeks ago I had a new personal best online and also won my biggest ever online pot (six $25/50 buy-ins). Then a week ago, I smashed this record by having quite a sick run in a $50/100 as well as doing okay in a $25/50 and a $10/20 on top of that.

It feels great having runs like this in these games, since I've been ridden in them more times than Seattle Slew! Apart from those big wins I've just been grinding well in $5/10 through $25/50 over the last while and am lucky enough not to have had a losing week since my last post.

There's some good poker stuff coming up in the next while with London, the tournament in Killarney, a poker tournament that'll be shown on RTE (in which I'm lucky enough to be sharing a heat with John O'Shea - still not sure if he's playing under the group of Pro/Celeb?) Not to mention the IPO on October 16 - should be a great tourney this year.

Anyway that's about it, all is well and I'm feeling really good about my poker at the mo, so usually this is when I should hit a big down swing to remind me that poker is a soul-crushing sandwich and every once in a while we've all gotta take a big bite!
