The end is near

I am not sure if this refers to my life or my trip to London. I'm getting quite tempted to walk out in front of a bus. Got knocked out of the £2.5k round of each in a tourney that was pretty uneventful for me and exited in a pretty standard hand.

The field was full of names, with my first table containing only 7/10 sponsored pros and the 2/3 of the other guys were top online pros. Obv the 1 fish at the table took my roots. I had Howard Lederer to my right which at least made for some interesting convo. Talking about the bracelet bets etc.

The best story he had was regarding Ivey this year, where in the space of 10 minutes he backed himself to win the WSOP main event for $20k @ 100/1 with Andy Bloch to win $2 million. Then turned around and laid himself with Gus Hansen for $20k @ 50/1, hence giving himself a $1 million free roll done with 2 people in the same room. Pretty sick, eh?

I went for a drink with Marty, Padraig, Liffey and Julian Gardner after I got knocked out, before heading home for some online grinding. Went from a $6k winner to a $10 loser and also did another $2k yesterday. Off to play the £5k PLO now. Should being doing a cool $20k after this event. At least I am going home tomorrow!
