Well the Irish got the job done, but the French are being a right pain in the hole this weather. Still got out of the weekend with some profit from my sports betting efforts, but that didn't put much of a dent in my poker loses. I lost over $20k for the week.

Things are going shite over here. I'm out of the main and doing my testicles in online cash. To be honest, I'm not playing well at all but this is also coupled with not being dealt the best hand.

The password for this week's Boylepokerblog.com freeroll at 8pm tonight is headsup. Best of luck!

Well, I played the ECOOP on Monday night and managed to get into the cash, after not really having a stack at any stage in the tourney. Managed to chip up nicely approaching the money and got a double with KK v 33, when there were about 20 places until the bubble.

Things were a lot simpler in 1996. There was the Irish Open and a few festivals in the Vic. When you travelled to the Vic, you had a choice between gambling on picking up Legionnaire's disease in Sussex Gardens or being robbed in the Metropole. The Metropole had a bar, so it was no contest.

God, poker's really taking the piss out of me over the last few days. So I'm just going to have a rant for a few lines, I probably wouldn't read it, if I were you!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I was playing live every day for the past week in Portugal. The hotel didn't have wireless in the rooms (just the lobby) and if truth be told, I couldn't be arsed getting up early to do a blog.

The BOSP title is passed on to this year's newly crowned champ, Darren Naylor. Noel Magner offers some wise words to the new champ, as he passes on the trophy for this year's 'Be Our Sponsored Pro' tournament.

Well, I came to the conclusion that the best way to complete this challenge would be to stick to MTTs, so after playing very little on Wednesday due to the Ireland game, I got back to action on Thursday night. Played a ton of tourneys and made a few small cashes. I ended up getting heads up in a 5k GTD and came 2nd for $775, so made a small profit on the night.

Boylepoker.com presents the 14-day, $4.5 million guaranteed European Championship of Online Poker V from Monday, with its sponsored pro John "doesalrite" O'Shea aiming to capture his fourth ECOOP title.

Boylepoker.com tonight hosts a special $1 World Cup Bad Beat Freezeout in honour of the heroic display by the Irish national football team in their World Cup play-off against former world champions France last night in Paris.

I've probably spent six months of my life in the Bellagio but until the week before last, I'd never considered popping over for the weekend. Then again, I'd never had a friend at a November final table before, nor had I had a friend about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, so I decided to give it a go!

Once again it's been a while since my last blog, as I decided to go to Amsterdam for the Amsterdam Classic Festival and only decided to go the day before. I was there for nearly two weeks in total and it was a decent trip, although I never got much of a run in the tourneys at all.

This week we will introduce you to our final table players for the Be Our Sponsored Pro II tournament which takes place this weekend.

Well, with my internet in bits I took it fairly handy in the poker this week. So that led to some nice boozing.....

Yep, after a countless amount of attempts I eventually got a PCA package last week and then another one this week. I'm now going straight for the guzzler and a 3rd!

As the title suggests, I have to go play poker in the Bahamas in January. Won a package last night worth $16k, so instead of freezing my nuts off here in January, I shall be kicking it on some beach (well inside some casino that is near a beach).

The World Open was a similar story as the Poker Million, that I described in my last blog. I played well at the start of the tournament, at one point making a winning call in a pretty big pot with just A-high on the river, when there was four to a straight on the board.

The Poker Show Live wraps up season two with The Poker Show League grand final; plus news and gossip direct from the World Series of Poker main event final table in Las Vegas

Well, after my decent recoveries on Monday and Tuesday, I wasn't too bothered on Wednesday when I was losing a bit. However, as the evening went on the hole kept getting deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper.

I went into this year with 4 titles to defend: The Poker Million, World Open, WSOP Omaha and of course the 300 euro Macau Festival PLO side event. As I write this I'm still technically the Poker Million champion because they haven't got around to playing the final yet.

I moved on Saturday into a pretty sweet house a bit out of the downtown area (that would be the "city centre" for the less travelled) but only 5 mins on the train, so it's pretty much exactly what we were looking for.

Finished both Monday and Tuesday very strongly, reversing $3k losses both days. In the end, I won $3k on each day, which is a nice result.

All has been pretty quiet on the online front, haven't had the chance to put too many hours in due to several reasons.

I've been playing for a few hours now. Was off to a great start, winning $6k in the first hour but now I've done it all back and some.

The Poker Show Live is jam-packed with big names next week, as it anticipates the World Series of Poker main event final, and also The Poker Show League final.
