I've been in Vegas for nearly a month now and I've had a total of zero cashes. Basically, I've bricked enough tourneys to build this Vegas mansion that we're living in.

Well, with the football sports bets I posted up on Friday going well (2 wins and a push), I decided to go for the guzzler on the rugby one.

The flights over to Vegas were fine and without any turbulence, thank god! Played 27 holes of golf on Thursday morning with Marty and Tommy "Nine Lives" Finnernan.

One of the lads gave me his laptop the other day and left one of his accounts logged in. He had been out the night before and was quite hung-over, so I decided to transfer $80k out of his account and into one of the other lad's accounts which had none of the extra security features on it.

Been in Vegas a few weeks now and it has been pretty much break-even, despite winning a good chunk online.

I'm flying out today to Las Vegas. I'd say I'm going with the mindset of pragmatic confidence. Anyone going there thinking they're going to burst the place up is just being unrealistic.

Well, three weeks into the WSOP marks the half way point of the series for me. So far it's been a pretty disappointing series.

Just arrived in Vegas after a 30 hour trip from the Cook Islands and got stuck straight into the action with one of the 1K NLH crapshoot events.

No poker of any consequence to report on as such. I've been playing the big Sundays for the past few weeks. I seem to be amassing stacks early enough and converting to a few cashes, but nothing decent.

My effort in the last two tournies could only be described as pathetic. Got a big stack in $1500 PLO and blew it just before the bubble in a horrible play. Not sure exactly how bad my performance was today in the $2500 PLO but it was bad.

The Boylepoker.com WSOPieces promotion is underway with online poker players able to win a percentage share in Boylepoker's four pros - Marty Smyth, John O'Shea, Nicky Power and Peter Murphy - at the World Series of Poker main event being held in Las Vegas in July.

Well the house has had its first WSOP final table. WD to Nick Heather who scooped a 4th in the $1k NLH for a cool $150k. Great old lift for all of us!

A few years ago in 2008, I got my first taste of Las Vegas. I thought I was a player as we drove into Vegas at 2am. If you are going to Vegas for the first time, you have to arrive at night.

Well things started to pick up after my last blog. I went and cashed in a $1500 WSOP event. Made the money and then got it in for an average stack sized pot, with KK v AA, no suck out and I was out.

Been in Vegas for nearly two weeks now and have settled in nicely, and after a few loose nights out, it's down to business. The house makes such a difference for your overall sanity. It's nice to have the option to chill out away from the madness of Vegas in between the clown shows that are the WSOP tourneys.

Just got back on the mainland after being on an island off the coast of Australia for most of last week. It's amazing how much you can miss in just four days of being without internet and mobile phone coverage.

Played the $1k and donked off all my chips nice and quickly. I did manage to last longer than Chubs for four hands, although his exit was some what more respectable than mine.
