After a quiet enough weekend where I did very little, we're back in full battle mode.
Well the picks I put up in the sports blog went 2/3 with the tennis bet Eoghan O' Dea shipped me going south.

I'm back from skiing fully refreshed and ready to rock on the 2012 goals I set for myself.

I went out to Citywest the night before the WPT for the Super Sat.

Here are my goals for the New Year. Given that I know that I have about a 40/60 spilt in my working week between poker and sports betting, I am going to have to cut back on some of my poker goals.

I said I'd do a detailed review of the year but quite frankly I can't be arsed nor do I think it would have been any real interest so here is a quicky.

I've been taking it pretty easy last few days. I was out for a Christmas dinner on Saturday with my school friends which got pretty messy.

Got dicked out of the EPT Prague and then got dicked out of the EPT Prague high-roller.

As ever, it's been a pretty swingy few days in Prague and the main event went very poorly. It started off with probably the worst table draw I have ever been at, with Shannon Shore, Mooreman, Steve O'Dwyer but to name a few; there was not one spot of value.

I arrived safely with O'Dea, Marty, Dermot and Multi. Had a good long sleep last night as I only got two hours the night before as I was playing poker in Fitz till 6.30am.

After a horrible run I had a pretty sick weekend. I think I had a break-even day Wednesday which halted the bleeding.

Well the IPO FT table is upon us. The location is dead handy as it's a two minute walk from my house. Looking at the stacks I think it's hard to look past the chippys.

I've played a surprising amount of poker this week including a game at the Fitz which I lost 2k in.

It is now the 14th of November, according to my plane tickets I left Ireland on the 3rd of November. Six nights on the razz in Vegas that was quickly followed by the biggest come down ever.

I could well do with a holiday after last weekend. I did my bollix in spectacular style. I think I did about $100k, suppose it was bound to happen at some stage.

What a lovely result for Dermot Blaine in Cannes WSOPE main event. He came 5th for 275k; my 15% paid a tidy 40k. Pretty lucky as I nearly didn't have it as we both played different day 1's and I missed the swap on day 1a.

I'm still fairly titled over that game. Wales trading at 1.33 and in control of France, when that prick goes and gives a red card that was never a red.

Well with so many great applicants........................ Brian Murphy aka pockets99 you're my man. I shall have my assistant Ciaran Corbett get in contact with you in the coming days and sort out the finer details but looking forward to seeing you at the IPO next week.

I binked the shit out of the rugby world cup at the weekend. Besides those 3 games I'd say I lost nearly every other bet I had. I racked up a glut of losses.

It's been a while since I slapped Nickys baldy head in the team competition. So Corbett came up with a new competition for me to slap it in. We both have to pick a regular online Boylepoker player and mentor him through the IPO.

Had one hell of a week sports betting. I was up over $100k before the weekend arrived, and unlike 2 weeks ago I didn't give it all back over the weekend. I tried to learn from that experience and punted a little bit more cautiously which really was a pity.

On the way to Malta I bought Eddies O Sullivan's autobiography, 'Never Die Wondering' partly because the man interests me but also because I reckon there was a good chance he would die wondering with so many missed championships.
