Back for day 2!

I made it back for my first day 2 of the WSOP in 3 attempts!!! Unfortunately I have less than what I started the day with, returning with a paltry 13,750 chips.

I suppose I have to look on the bright side. I still have over 30 big blinds, so there's still some hope. There could have been a very embarrassing early exit for me, as I was all in with a stone cold bluff in the first level.

There was a fairly in bits guys giving away his chips. So I decided I wanted to play a pot with him. He limps as he did every hand, I had J8 off, so I made it 450 to go. There's a lot of history involved in this hand that the villain had with the table which I won't go into. Flop comes a73 with diamond fd. He leads for 1,100 in to 1,050, I opted to float.

The turn is a black queen, he bets 1,100 again and I re-raise to 4k. He calls, rivers pairs the 7 no flush completes, I have him on the flush draw. He checks and I shove my remaining 16k into 12kish. When he doesn't muck quickly my heart picks up a little.

He then announces AJ no good, my heart goes into over drive? I was like omg this spanner is odds on to call, gg wp etc. He finally mucks AJ face up. I proudly table the bluff and awaited to get paid off for the rest of the day! Unfortunately I was card dead for the rest of the day bar 2 spots where I folded my AA and JJ, both good folds.

Well we shall go back and give it a spin with the rest of the Irish who just seem to be limping through with no big stacks emerging.
