Back to the grind

Well, after nearly three months living in America basically like a king and spending a small fortune I had decided that when I got home I would play online for a solid month and hope to cover my expenses for the trip, which I would be very happy with if I achieved it.

My main event was pretty unexciting, got up to about 40k early-ish but dwindled slowly and ended up busting early on day 2. It was a pretty bad feeling getting knocked out of that event, especially after buying in direct.

After the main event had finished I stayed on in Vegas for another few weeks with some mates and basically just chilled-out and had a few mad sessions as usual.

Since I got back last week I have played a lot of long sessions and I have put in over 20k hands, showing a profit of about 10k. Quite happy with that so far, another few good weeks and my rather long vacation will be paid for!

My next stop is Cork for the Macau festival next weekend. I had a good run in this last year and hopefully can go a little bit better this time round.
