Back to the grindstone

03 August 2010 | Category: by: John O'Shea

I'm back home and back to the grind. Got home Sunday morning and have just been running errands since then. I've also put in three sessions.

I've been grinding 2/4 and 3/6 mostly. Got off to a nice start winning $2k in my first session. However, I dropped down $3k and $2.5k in the next two sessions. Didn't run great but made a lot of mistakes.

I made a few bad bluffs and several poor river calls, which were costly. As I get back into the full swing of things I should eliminate these mistakes. I feel like a five-day-old turd after two weeks on the piss, so I'm trying to do as much exercise as I can but because I'm very unfit this will be quite hard.

Anyway, if you're on Boylepoker take a peak and see how my attempted spin-up is going. Will be mostly on 2/4 and 3/6 PLO tables. I shall also be playing some of the nightly tournaments as well. I have had good success in these in the past and clicking a result is a nice way to get yourself motoring.
