Hey guys, it's been a while since my last post, but with the Multiplier and all the other loudmouths that are now with Boyles it's pretty hard for me to get a word in.
There hasn't been too much to write about really. Since I've been home I've just been working hard on my personal fitness, running and gyming it everyday. I also saw a dietician to try and start eating a bit better.
When I saw her I was expecting her to just be like "Ah you're fine Rory, you're perfectly healthy and others should aspire to be like you"...not quite. She took a few weight height details etc and then after pinching some nice flab on my arm and belly she was like "oh yeah you would be feeling uncomfortable alright, you could stand to lose 8lbs to a stone"...ah yeah SOUND.
I've not played much poker since I've been back; about 15 hours last week - losing small, and then about 15 so far this week - winning small! How unexciting, I know.
I've been feeling a bit burnt out recently (lol, just back from holiday I know...but I actually played a pretty sick amount while away) and also the games haven't been that great so I decided to take it easy for the last while.
Gonna start playing a bit more over the next while I hope, but I really am not that bothered for some reason. If I can get 25 hours/week at d mo, I'll be satisfied.
Looking forward to the following stuff:
- The $2.5mil guaranteed $1500 buy in this Sunday on Boyles
- The FT of the IPC on TV
- Team event in Galway (O'Dea, Oshy, Fallon, Flipper, Noel, Myself)
- Going to London for GUKPT on 25th
- Winning the Irish Open
- Donating in some SCOOP events on Pokerfarts(oops)
- Going on tennis holiday after the IO
Guess that's all for now. Thinking of writing a deep and meaningful strategy/pokerlife post soon enough but not quite sure what to write it on. I was thinking of titles like- 'Happiness in Poker', 'Advanced PLO' or something on MTT/SNGs....I dunno which you guys would be more interested in - SOFA KING POST if you'd like or something different altogether.
