What a load of Biloxi!!!

Well next up was the the $5k PLO, we were losing about $35k for the trip so a cash was needed in this. It had only 23 runners but the field was still soft enough. I finished 12th after losing a pretty big flip. Butty (Dave Callaghan) marched on to the final table chip leader, but with only three getting paid he still had a lot to do.

He did manage to make the final three chip leader, but that's when things fell apart. Still got $26k for his troubles, which nearly had us out of the red, or did it?

By the time he had gotten paid, I had lost $22k in cash games, ran unreal bad in a very good game. Butty came to the rescue again booking a $26k win in cash that night, to keep our losses manageable.

Pretty sick, if we had held in three pots where we were up against 1/2/4 outers, we'd be ahead a decent amount. Both of us played the main event today. Structure is sick good in WPT'S, chip_icon.jpg30k starting chips and 90 minutes levels. Level three I flopped a set of 10s on a Unkown suit Q Unkown suit 10 Unkown suit 6 flop. The turn was a black jack, which given the way the action went seemed like a vg card for me considering my opponents range.

It wasn't, my opponent had gotten 20% of his stack in on the flop drawing to a jack, as he held Unkown suit A Unkown suit K no diamonds. I bet out chip_icon.jpg7.5k and had an easy call off of another chip_icon.jpg11k into chip_icon.jpg38k, when he shoved, obviously I missed. Then got my remaining chip_icon.jpg3k in when I shoved over an initial raiser who had received a few callers. We go heads up for the chip_icon.jpg7.5k pot, but again my Unkown suit A Unkown suit Qsuited was no match for Unkown suit K Unkown suit J off. Butty is still in the main, hopefully he can come to the rescue again.

Despite barely winning a pot here in Biloxi, I've actually had a really good time. The action has been thick and fast. I was in a sick game the other night. Must have been over $300k on the table, $50k pots going off willy nilly, playing $500 props with Josh Arieh (you have no idea, I was nearly skint). Every time Josh had the button we all had to put $1k in for a hand of blind Omaha, he was doing his bollix so no one wanted to piss him off, obv I didn't scoop one.

Going to head to New Orleans for a few days before going to Vegas for more tournaments once Butty is ko'd.
