Building a mansion

I feel I'm playing really well in these events, even though I haven't even made a dinner-break. It's the structure of the events, they are really fast and you have to play pots early.

Thankfully I've been running pretty hot online to keep me ahead small for the trip. I won a hyper-turbo on Stars for $16k and scooped a main event package on Full Tilt.

I've been sort of taking a break from poker over the last few days, with some loose Vegas nights out. We've been going to Encore for the last few nights. It's pretty normal when one building has the best two clubs in the world, XS and Surrender. Good craic last night running into the English lads, we were dishing out the abuse about how they would be exiting to the Germans in a few hours. It's pretty much all we can go with, as they're scooping ridiculous amounts of bracelets.

It's been a disappointing series for the Irish so far, although we're coming into the big events now. The 5k and 10k PLOs are on this week and the Main Events are on soon enough. I'm definitely playing the $5k and haven't decided about the 10k. I'd love to play it, I guess I'll see how I go in the 5k and decide then.
