Been home about two weeks now and I'm pleased to say it's been pretty uneventful. I needed a break after the pain of Vegas, and for me a break from poker involves only playing a few hours online a day. It'd be pretty unrealistic to think I could go cold turkey altogether and take a real break.
So I've just been getting back into the gym properly and seeing my friends etc. All relatively normal things I guess, nothing to excite you degenerate readers.
Since I've been home I've been running horrifically online, which has kind of helped with the whole taking a break thing. Every session ends with me hating poker that little bit more, so I'm not going to play now for a few days and then launch back in next week.
With all this talk about taking breaks etc, I have forgotten that I plan on playing the End of Month €270 tonight in the Fitz; it's always fun, not stressful at all, and you get fed which is key.
I'm then going down to Wexford on Friday for a tennis tournament and a piss-up. It's always good fun because the tennis usually takes a back seat, and since I haven't been playing much tennis (thanks to poker and this so called summer we're enjoying), this is yet another tournament I don't plan on having a deep run in...sigh!
Enjoy the bank holiday on Boylepoker you sick sick animals,
Reesy
