Chipping away

It's kind of a case of take one step back to taking three steps forward and I am already seeing some of the benefits. I ended up dropping Rory out of the team event in the City West, after 9 holes on Friday. Got dragged into playing on a team, didn't do any good and did money on side bets to my new arch nemesis BIG MICK G. If taking my money wasn't enough, he had to go and completely own me in a hand, making me look like an idiot.

Great crowd out there and the banter at the table with Nicky Power, Keith "IPR" Mc Fadden and Micky G was top class. Irish Robbie added to the banter by open folding AK pre-flop. His explanation was that he has gone on in his last two tournaments on the last hand of day 1 and this being the last hand of the day its an obv fold, given that piece of information it's actually an excellent fold.

It was also a nice touch by Fintan Gavin to wear a balaclava, given that he was running his tournament with a 13% registration fee and didn't supply any food at the break - robbing fucking bastard.

Think someone spread a vicious rumour that it was my birthday this weekend, as people were firing money at me online for the 15 hours odd that I put in online. I managed to turn around the $2k losing week into a $16k winning week. The highlight was taking down a $13k pot in 25/50 PLO. So I'm now 56/200 in terms of my goal, just over 25% of my goal complete, the downswing should be fun.

Despite the Aussies raping me for a nice €4k in the Ashes, I actually had a very nice week sports betting. Still managing to show €4k profit which needless to say I am over the moon with. Also, another long term bet I have brewing, Brawn to win the Constructors Championship (€500 @ 8/1), took a healthy step forward and is close to looking like a lock.

Regarding people asking me to but up PaddysWarrior's tips, fuck off! Ah no, I will stick them up if it's alright with him.
