Day 3 - the Hi's and Lo's

13 June 2009 | Category: by: John O'Shea

Just busted from the PLO hi lo wsop $5k event literally 20 minutes ago. Lasted into level 6 and exited after roughly 50% of the field. Had just under the starting stack and lost a pot where I was a marginal favourite.

The standard was as bad as I had hoped. All the same it was still the best standard of plo hi lo I had seen. My first big hi lo tourney and lessons were learned. I give my play a 7/10. All in all really enjoyed it. Sorry for the lads who had %'s but I cant win em all. Next up is the $2,5k plo on Sunday at noon. Phil Ivey was drawn at my table but because he was deep in another tourney he only played 2 hands, which he folded both. Would have been cool to see him in action, no doubt I would have tried to tackle him, would be some set of roots to have in your garden shed. Morale in the camp is still very high. I am still having a winning trip and Paul is off to an absolute flyer.
