The last 2 days have been really good for me. Logged in about 15 hours online and won about $20k. In the evenings I put in a short and a medium session live, winning about $2k.
I played the 25/50/100 PLO game in the Rio, it's the 2nd biggest game they have there. While there were some spots of value, I was also going to be pitting my game against some of the top PLO players in the world.
I felt I played really well and won a little over $1k in it whilst getting unlucky in one big hand. I got it all in with top set v bare nut flush draw for $20k pot. We ran it twice and I won once, not that unlucky, but I am a 70% plus favourite in the hand.
However, I'm still $20k ahead for my trip at the minute with the $5k PLO tomorrow already paid for.
The $5k PLO tomorrow is going to be a big one for the Boylepoker boys. Myself, Marty, Halibut, Rees and Parky will all be in action. With the fuck up of our dollars not getting here, we're all a little short of the green backs.
We REALLY REALLY need one of us to cash decent in this event. It hasn't happened for me in my first two events, but I am on top of my game and I'm really focused at the moment, so hopefully I can catch some breaks tomorrow.
Along with the arrival of the rest of the Boylepoker crew, Big Mick G arrived in today, as well as a few of my school mates. So when I bust/win the $5k PLO, I shall be hitting the drink and women hard for one night before the $10k PLO.
Glad to report I avenged my defeat to Irish Robbie in the tennis in another very competitive match. Lol put a game on in the background while writing this blog, just picked up $2kish in it. God it's nice to run like me!
