Don't shit on your own doorstep!

14 September 2009 | Category: by: John O'Shea

I recorded my third losing poker week in a row. Chilled out, played golf and went on the piss over the weekend. I'm looking forward to getting back into it today.

Lucky I didn't have time to get a blog up on Friday, as my rugby nap for the weekend was a loser. I had a decent weekend in sports betting, thanks to someone giving me a horse tip.

I try to never back horses but I was on tilt after doing €5k on New Zealand and the information seemed good, so I put on the wellies and waded into a horse bet. Thankfully it cruised in. Went to 'Howl at the Moon' on Saturday night and ran into all the Jackpot creeps, who were out celebrating Dermot Blane's return - $500k richer!

Dermot was making sure everyone's glass was kept full, which meant I got absolutely wasted and don't no how I got home. One of my mates stayed over and as we were heading out for some hungover rolls the next morning, I opened the front door and there was the biggest shit right on my door step. His reaction was, 'Ah John'.

Not knowing what went on the night before and the fact that this particular party piece was certainly not beyond me, I was made the prime suspect - but shitting on my own door step is something I have always managed to avoid.

On closer inspection we deemed it not to be human and were happy enough to rule me out of the investigation.

yup,had a look at munster-6 pts @1/1,but left it as the lions players are still out, they won by more then 6!,also had a look at clare under 21 to beat killkenny u/21 @ 6/4 and again left it as i didnt see much of a edge, they won by a pt!i did how ever have a nibble on alandi in the irish st ledger @ 3/1.john oxx had mourayan in the english st ledger as well as alandi in the irish st ledger, with a certain sea the stars a good yardstick in the gallops, and when mick kinane choose to stay at home,i took the hint
wheres all this going, well for the last while i'm putting a fair % of any profits on hurrican fly for the champion hurdle ante post in march at 7/2-3/1.this mullins horse is a star and if all goes to plan will be a hell of a lot shorter price wise come next march, and will be laying off to get a decent roi
