So far, I have played a total of three hours poker this week and am down $1,500. It's been a combo of over playing last week and running a lot of errands. I've been doing a lot of house keeping of my affairs. Moving in to the house took a lot more effort than I thought, I thought it would be like packing your suitcase and going on holiday, it's not.
I've been hitting the gym hard since coming home as my concentration levels are similar to the average gold fish. I find when I attain a reasonable level of fitness they can increase to match that of a grey squirrel. When I left for America I was running 8 km in about 34 mins, it's up to 43 mins now, so I have a lot of work to do away from the table before September comes around. I want to be fully prepared for want will be my busiest month of the year online.
My driving test is coming up again on the 2nd of September, so I have to start working on that. I am also setting myself a goal of getting a single figure golf handicap by this time next year. I bought new clubs and have Rory Brown helping me with my golf game; he's a pretty class golfer and has already helped me correct a few things with my swing.
Paddywarrior has had a cracking week with the footy bets getting 6-1 on the midweek matches, so I am up about €3,5k on them, but this will only go to cover the €4k I have behind the Aussies in the cricket. I backed them in June for the Ashes and needless to say, I am in for a sick sweat over the next few days.
It will either be a super week of sports betting or a small loser (well I am sure I'll probably have another €5k of bets over the weekend).
Won't be going out this weekend, instead I'm going to try to get 20/30 hours of play in online.

Any chance of throwing up a few of your bets Paddy?
John has enough money, share the wealth....;)
