Well, three weeks into the WSOP marks the half way point of the series for me. So far it's been a pretty disappointing series.
I did manage to pick up my 2nd cash in the $2,5k PHL/PLO event and finish 23rd but being honest I ran good enough to final table the event if I'd been on top of my game.
Decided to mark the half-way point with a little break, so I flew down to San Diego on Saturday to see my girlfriend. It's a nice change to wake up beside the sea/hang out with someone who doesn't give a shite about ranges and value betting.
I'm really excited about the 2nd half of the series. I think it's going to be kind of like one of those rounds of golf, you know the ones where you play horribly on front nine and then really well on back nine.
Got about 10 events left and these would be the tournaments I would have looked forward to most. Hopefully I can start playing as well as I'm running!!!
Oh there's a good sign! Chile just scored and I have €10k on them 'draw no bet', maybe things are turning. Ok well better go as want to get some beach time before I catch my 4pm flight in time to play the WSOP Razz event tonight. First live Razz tournament, so it should be uber value.
Oh yeah it's definitely half full!!!!!!!!!!!

Great positivity. Good luck on the back nine. In all fairness you front wasn't that bad.
