The Improver set the early pace in Serie BB but couldn't maintain the challenge and finished fifth in the end. The honours went to DeadParrot who finished level on points with bohsman, but as DeadParrot won the all important clash between the two, the win and $1,802 was shipped his way. Bohsman and enzo scifo took second and third place for $1,020 and $578 respectively.
In his post league interview DeadParrot was happy but still felt he had lost some money by being careless "I was pissed when I agreed to chop the money with Oscar before we played (take $1,400 odd each if we finished level on points). I obviously destroyed him during our game and sealed the victory. But me being me, I forgot all about it and didn't give my last game against Warper my full concentration so I ended up finishing level on points."
Bohsman was heard lol'ing in the distance...free money is free money!
Serie BB was a pretty close league with only three points separating third to ninth place and any result along the way could have made a difference to who took the money places and who didn't.
Speaking to DeadParrot "It was a tough league and my game has improved thanks to the different styles I faced. I found Chucky the tree a really tricky opponent and Connie was also difficult to play against. Loose as a goose one minute and then tight as a duck's arse the next!" James added "I was hoping for a top three finish at the start of play so to win it all, was a pretty good feeling".
When asked had he got anything else to add, James said "Boylepoker>>>>Boyles Shop>>>>TITTIES". When I was walking away laughing, he called me back and said, "Oh I almost forgot...I have one last thing to say to all the Serie BB players...BING BLANG BLAOW, I got your money!!"
