This was the closest league of the season with none of the money spots decided going into the last round of games. In the end tipp86 secured a victory, and with results going his way, he scooped first prize and over $1k.
Having to settle for second place was shano_88, gkenny, babymaker6 and laolao all finished in third place on six wins from nine matches. On another day, these players could have been first or second which shows how close the league was!
Speaking after his victory, tipp86 had great praise for all his opponents, "I'd just like to thank all the lads in Serie C who took part. I feel very lucky to come out victorious after the league. It was incredibly tight which we see by third place being tied by three lads. I'd like to say every game was hard fought and thoroughly enjoyable at the same time."
When pushed to choose his toughest opponent, Enda vouched for laolao, "I played him towards the end and I felt the winner was favourite to take the league. He went one up and it was a hard fight to come back and he was very unlucky in the end."
One person who feels aggrieved at not doing better is babymaker6, "FFS, I lost my first two matches to people who finished in the money, and my third defeat was also against a money finisher. I was up against it from then so I'm disgusted I didn't make a better start."
Good news for tipp86 who had some extra money to "add to his bankroll" and "splash out on some new clothes." Sure we all have our sob stories and tipp86 could have done a full sweep only for "Pierce hard took advantage and played me on the 18th of March when my head hadn't come back to working order after Paddy's day!! Also I had to let Itt-Pat win just to make it more exciting for the final round!!"
Enda also wished to thank Flushdraw and Boylepoker for the time, effort and added money which puts Boylepoker out in front in terms of a poker company always trying to help Irish players.
