Haven't really gotten back to the grind since I got home. I've been trying to make a large withdrawal, but these things take time and I don't want to go to war with a large account behind me.
There's no point in playing anything less than 25/50 when you've got a healthy six figure account, as the stakes seem meaningless. However, next week when I get the cash out and pay some bills, I'll need to get back to the grind.
So, I've basically been nipping in and out of 25/50 and 50/100 PLO games for the last five days or so - to get the fix. This involves playing about one hour and winning or losing 2/3 buy-ins.
I was going grand and was ahead about $30k till last night when I dropped $35k. Lost a $20k and $40k flip (I was slightly handicapped being 42.5% and 40% in the "flips"), ran them twice and lost all four pots.
The $40k one was well sick, as I hit the front on the turn both times and had him drawing slim. Anyway, not to worry, was due a little run like that.
Off to Galway tomorrow for the Irish Omaha Championship, really looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll play the super sat and the main. The super sat should generate a lot of tickets as a result of the structure. Always a bit of an unknown when its the first time out for any event and they expect about 50 runners, which will make for a decent prize pool.
Been easing myself back into the gym as the last 10 days in America saw very little gym work.

Sick life!
