Not all bullshit in the Bahamas

Arrived in the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas the other day. The size of the thing is ridiculous; not only does it have its own island, but also its own toll bridge going to the island.

After seeing all the pictures, I was really looking forward to swimming with the dolphins etc. The room costs about $350 a night (complete rip off). To say I was disappointed when I arrived at the place is a major understatement.

To make matters worse the weather wasn't good either, so me and Chub spent a few hours in the room catching up.

Played day 1b yesterday. I decided just to play abc and not fuck up toooooooo badly. I didn't do much wrong and found myself down to 16k before I got a double up with v .

I kicked on from there and ended the day on 60,200 in chips with the average being 50k (starting stack was 30k).

Pretty happy with how I played given my recent form. Still not playing great but just going to keep nitting it up, try to find some cards and hopefully play myself into the tournament slowly.

Focusing on the positive it's the first time I've made day 2 of a $10k event from six attempts, which has to be seen as progress.
