Like the good old days

Myself and John were both in the games running good and taking good profits for the night. I followed it up with a couple of nice sessions today and yesterday - so it's been a nice upswing for me.

Haven't been blogging much lately but it's mainly because I haven't had much to blog about. I've just been really enjoying Vancouver over the last few weeks. The weather's been beautiful and it's hard to spend the days grinding when you're getting offers to go to a 135m pool by the beach!!!

My brother was also in town for a week. I met him downtown at 12 noon from the airport and he said to me, 'Anywhere to get food?' I just pointed at a cafe to which he said, 'Well I was more thinking about a pub...'

Oh one of those lunches! So we basically spent the day on a bar crawl. There was a big fireworks display on which we had planned to go to that night. Unfortunately we fell short, although we couldn't manage to pass by Johnny Fox's Irish bar and ended up drowning pints of Kilkenny draft for the night. So that set the tone for the week, with some good boozy sessions.

Also, I see the satellites have started for the IPO, I've already registered myself and looking forward to it, as it'll be the first tourney I'll play when I get back to Ireland. It's a tourney I recommend to my semi-degen mates. It really has the feel of a big tourney and a big prize pool without being that pricey to get into.
