Next year...

By the sounds of it I was pretty close to being Boylepoker's standout performer in the Irish Open... I made Day 2. Only for about an hour mind you, when I re-jammed on a late position raiser with Q6s. He made a good call with A9 and somehow I didn't get there. WTF? I always get there on the internet. Live poker is rigged!

That left me with some time to chill for the rest of the weekend. I perked up on Sunday morning when, in conversation over breakfast, Veronique informed me that there was a Spa in the village. Fortunately (or unfortunately for everyone who would have enjoyed the ensuing comedy had I wandered down for a quick Body Scrub) Padraig pointed out that I had misheard and there was in fact a Spar in the village. FML.

So while it was nice to have a couple of days off, I couldn't help wishing that I had the skills to make the most of the weekend. I'm going to practice hard over the next year and bring my game up to scratch so that I can definitely be involved for the duration. My golf game that is, the course looked fantastic. Poker can look after itself...

Its a shame you couldnt walk a few more holes, Nicky Power admitted to being put off whilst you were following us around.

Hmm technically I think you would have had to walk downtown in your speedos for it to be an FML.

LOL x3 !
