I had no success grinding my losses back and as it stands I'm doing $13k for the week. I'm not playing great and some of the games aren't great at the mo either. So I'm delighted to be going to San Remo tomorrow.
The weather here is getting to me again, as there's nothing worse than losing and shite weather outside, you're basically confined to sitting there and doing your bollix or planning interesting ways of killing yourself. I'm planning a messy blow-out tonight, before a serious week of grinding.
The old fitness program is going well and I should manage to run 35 km this week (I've already done 22 km). I will be at my goal of 50 km a week within the next 2 weeks. Exciting stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've done a fair bit of study this week on sports bets. So I'll have plenty of viewing interests this weekend. My nap of the weekend is tonight's Guinness Premiership match between Sale Sharks V Harlequins.
I have backed Sale at -5 @ 10/11, which is gone now. -6 is available with Boylesports, which is still a very good bet.
So why is this a good bet? Harlequins had a very physical game with Leinster last Sunday. In 5 days they will have no way fully recovered from such a physical and emotionally draining defeat.
It's also worth noting that Leinster chose to rest nearly all their players that were in action last weekend. In that match they lost both of their out-halves. So tonight it will be there 3rd choice out-half playing. Sale must win tonight to have any chance of making the play-offs, while Harlequins are basically already qualified. Sale have lost 1/8 of there last home games.
There are a few other factors, but if you're not convinced now, you don't have a gambling bone in your body!

nice one john, stuck it in with galway-2pts and waterford + 2pts in the hurling, happy days :)
