Pretty annoyed with how I played last week, other than winning big in an ill advised drunken spin, I would've done my bollix in. In an effort to refocus myself, I took a fair bit offline. I generally play better when I can't piss buy-ins away.
The Omaholics promotion just started on Boyles. I set myself a goal of finishing in the top 10 of the 10/20 and above blinds limit.
Played a few tournies online over the weekend. Cashed in the 2/7 nl single draw WCOOP (first time playing the game), but busted pretty quickly in all the others as a result of playing shite.
Had a good weekend sports betting though. Thank Christ the rugby is back, I had 3/3 winners; there were two other bets I fancied but didn't get on which won. I liked Rob's thinking on the under 45.5, but when I went to back it the line had moved to 43.5 so I left it. After watching a very high scoring minor game and looking at the stats for the two teams, I fancied it to be over 43.5.
Paddy did sting me with one nice losing bet, suppose that's progress, down from five the week before. Ahead $1,500 with him now, down from just under $10k. In all I won over a €6k at the sports last week.
Playing golf today, have to work extra hard on my golf game now as I just had another bet with Marty, which means even more $$$$ riding on me getting my golf game in order. By the looks of things, the golf course might make or break me next June in Vegas, not the WSOP.
I have two big weeks online before I go to London for the WSOPE, really want to get some profit to take the pressure off there, as it's costing me $20k with expenses for the week.

yup no joy with the hurling, but after the minor match scoreing 38 pts, things were looking a bit dicey, pity was waitig on that one for a tribble, with the ozzies & john oxxs mega horse.was going to lay off the hurling to cream the profit, but wheres the fun in that.(in the bookies arse pocket now!)but lesson learned
