I said in my last blog that I fancied to see one of us (an Irish person) at the ft in the GUKPT, but Martin Silk actually did a bit more than that - sure didn't he only go and win the effing thing!
So fair play to him and the Pirate (Tony Rafter), they lodged $400 into an online site on Monday and went about trying to spin it up together to pay for both their GUKPT buy-ins. They took it in turns of 6 hour shifts to play. 72 hours later, they had completed their mission and off they went.
So $400 to $200k in a week is great work, really put the multiplier to shame really, he can't even do $1k to $10k in 10 weeks. The rest of us who were out on Friday and spent the weekend on the beer.
Some very funny moments! I have sat here in front of the computer for about 10 minutes trying to write about one in particular, but it's probably a bit much.
I ended up about $2k for the week from poker and had another good week at the sports betting, so managed to get a few quid out of that. Poor old Boyles got slapped by me again!
I have my driving test this week, so I have a few pre-tests and all that jazz booked, which is going to take up some time. The plan for the week is to play some 2/4 3/6 pl and might also throw some hu nlh in there, in preparation for Hollaments.
This chat below is untrue, although I kind of wish it wasn't, really a missed opportunity by me.
