Well San Remo went pretty awfully. Not cashing in 2 tournaments is not the end of the world and is not what annoyed me, rather my performance in them. It made me realise you can't go from one end of the month to the other not playing any nlhe and then attend an EPT or Irish open and expect to crush a field.
This coupled with the fact that I find live tournaments very boring, unless I'm playing 40% of hands and I'm simply not at the level to be able to that in nlhe. So going forward, I will be very much sticking to PLO live tournaments.
As a result of doing €7.5k in tournament buys-in I am down about $10k for the week, which brings my down swing to $40k. I'm going to take the weekend off and not get busy with the potting till Monday. I'll drop back some levels to 2/4 ish, as I don't want to be dealing with a $100k down swing before Vegas.
I'm not too strong on any bets this week, but I will be backing Ulster @ -9 v Cardiff tonight. Cardiff have opted to rest there whole team for next weekend's Heineken Cup semi final. Cardiff have had some horrible Magners League form this year and lie 3rd last. This match will be a game they want out of there way, regardless of the result. Ulster are always a tough side in Ravenhill and should field a strong team. They also had a decent win away to Glasgow last weekend, which has been a hard place to get a result this season. If you're having a bet on this game, only gamble half the amount you had on Sale Sharks last weekend.

Did your Sale Sharks bet win last week?
