Well, I had one shift this month, a $500 tournament on Saturday at the scary early hour of 12 noon. With it being a bank holiday at home and my mates all getting jobs this week, we decided that was enough of an excuse to do a triple header.
This meant a Thurs-Fri-Sat combo on the sauce, which was great craic. I ended up in the casino after Saturday night, rolling some dice which is always great craic.
Was pretty sick the other day actually, we went in bored one night and threw a few $ on the roulette. I did my standard bet on Thierry Henry, red 14. Came in the normal 3 times in a row, was unreal. Lucky I was sober or I'm pretty sure I'd be barred for life after the inevitable celebrations.
So anyways, despite being less than 5 min walk away, I only managed to drag myself out of bed and across to the casino for 12:45. I was thinking it should be fine and that I could get in on the late registration. But the straight as an arrow Canadians wouldn't be a huge fan of common sense.
So I wandered up to the desk and the lovely lady behind the desk informed me that late registration was only for first level and I'd missed it by seven minutes. She then offered me the alternative of a 1 2 Limit game. When she saw the disgusted look on my face she quickly informed me of the 27$ tourney starting tomorrow at 10am. Needless to say that was the end of the conversation.
As it turned out I wasn't too annoyed, as it only got 4/5 tables and I ended watching a local rugby and footy game, which was a nicer way to spend a sunny afternoon in Vancouver to be fair. I also managed to take a few quid online later that day too, so all's well.
Clocked in another good week online, playing good, running good in good games which amounts to good profits. So hopefully things continue in this fashion. Although it's usually around now when poker decides to knock you down and have a good lol at you. But I'll keep chuggin' away while I can!
