Hi, my name is Ciaran Corbett, you may remember me from such telephone conversations as "Welcome to Boylesports, may I have your account number please?" or "Boylesports customer service how may I help?".
Having recently climbed the ranks to "Hi, I am Ciaran Corbett Boylepoker VIP manager", I have found myself attending more and more live events to ensure that our customers are getting the spoiling they deserve.
However, after travelling to events in Cork and Waterford over the past couple of weeks I have found that not all people use their nickname as a true reflection of themselves (with the exception of MUSTBEMAD who deserves a blog all to himself!).
In Waterford I was fortunate enough to meet LIMPENGIMP, who is having no trouble at all strolling onto final tables of late, and THEDRUNKENONE, who I met at a local event in Dundalk, was actually a teetotaller!
I also received quite a shock recently when I discovered that a player (THESILVERADONIS) I had been playing against on another site turned out to be none other than the great Paul Spillane!!
I arrived into the office on Monday morning and was greeted by an even waspier than usual boss who complained all day that some player called MANUFAN81 had cleaned him out the previous night.
I spent the whole day hiding my new found wealth and the Ronaldo mug that I had received for my 27th birthday the week before!
This weekend takes me to the Bolton GUKPT to meet up with more of our customers and I will be very disappointed if BLONDEGAL36DD hasn't been completely up front with her nickname either!
