Boylepoker.com tonight hosts a special $1 World Cup Bad Beat Freezeout in honour of the heroic display by the Irish national football team in their World Cup play-off against former world champions France last night in Paris.
Ireland won the match in 90 minutes but lost the two-leg play-off in extra time due to a 'hand of God' goal by French superstar Thierry Henry. This ultimate bad beat extinguished Ireland's hope of making World Cup 2010 in South Africa next summer.
To cheer fans up, Boylepoker will be adding $2,500 to the prize pool of the 9 p.m. (GMT) tournament, which also has three $100 bounties: HenryIsACheat, HenryIsMerde, HenryOfGod.
The structure of the tournament will be a 2,000 chip starting stack, with eight minute blinds.
