Last minute decisions

Apologies for not posting any updates since I started, but I haven't played that much yet and have been getting over a rather long weekend. I decided at the last minute to take a trip to Killarney due to the presence of a large field and numerous satellite winners, which always means good value.

Anyway, the tourney didn't go to plan but it was still a good laugh and I didn't get home until Tuesday after another last minute decision to head out in Dublin on Monday night on the long drive home (might as well finish off with a bang). Unlucky to Donal who went deep again and vwp to Goughy who came second for a nice pay day.

Back to the challenge, I managed to put in about 5k hands before Killarney at 25-50c and after a pretty bad start when I was down a few buy ins, managed to clear a profit of a few hundred dollars. This prompted a decision to play a few mtts before bed, which led to me losing about $60 or $70 in buy ins and left my account at $1,190 before my trip to Killarney.

After my few days away, I put in about 3k hands between Thursday night and early Friday morning, ending up with a profit of over $300. So, even with my few days absence I have still got off to a very reasonable start with my total balance at $1,515, which is ten buy ins at my current level so another 8k hands and I should be moving up to 50c-$1.

My plan now is to put in a long weekend and I hope to get to 2k over the weekend all things going well. If I can keep my win rate at a similar level to now then that should be obtainable as long as I put the hours in.

I also hope to have a lot more updates next week.
