Murphy's Multiplier x2

Well, I came to the conclusion that the best way to complete this challenge would be to stick to MTTs, so after playing very little on Wednesday due to the Ireland game, I got back to action on Thursday night. Played a ton of tourneys and made a few small cashes. I ended up getting heads up in a 5k GTD and came 2nd for $775, so made a small profit on the night.

Same plan again on Friday were I played another good few MTTs and was going deep in a few of them early in the morning. The 35k GTD was the one I really wanted to go deep in, with a top prize of over 8k, but I ran AK into AA just as we just got into the money - this set me back a good bit.

Then with 75 left, I lost a race for the overall chip lead and then never really got back into it, coming 37/1500 odd for a small cash. Soon after I was chip leader in two tourneys with 13 and 10 players left, ended up busting in 4th in one of them after losing another big race wit JJ v AK. I cashed for $250 but ended up taking the other one down for a top prize of over $2200 and got my balance to $4800.

On Saturday night I decided to stay in and play a few more MTTs, even though I was tempted to head to the pub for a few sociable's. I got a half-decent result in a 10k GTD re-buy event, coming 6th for $740. I also came 2nd in the $1k Boylepoker freeroll for $200. I managed to secure a seat in Monday's ECOOP event 1 (worth $215), so all I have to do is win that and its game over.

On Sunday I didn't play as many tourneys but I did win a satellite early on for the $250k GTD worth $320. I was unable to fold my aces on a low flop with a few draws on board and he obv had a set, ugh. Tried to satellite into the ECOOP event 7 worth $535 but I missed out on a seat by a few places but I will try again.

I didn't really do anything in any of the tourneys until the very last one, which went on until after 4am but was worth it, as I took it down for just short of $1100. I was playing well but in the end I had to get lucky with ace 6 v QQ 3 handed, BvB where I shoved over his raise and I got there.

Anyway, this brought a good end to what had been a pretty disappointing Sunday in general. This weekend has been very successful though, winning 2 MTTs and getting a few 2nds and a few more deep runs, so let's hope for more of the same in the coming week! I hope to play 4 of the ECOOPs, event 1, 4, 7 and 10 but I will have to satellite into them all, which I hope to do as a good result on one of those events would set me up lovely.

Anyway, the stats read - final balance of $6006 with a seat worth $215, so hope to get a run in that tonight.
