I arrived back from my short break in NYC this week. What a crazy and expensive city. I suppose it doesn't help when you get stretch hummers to and from the airport though :).
But sure, why not splash out a bit considering my challenge is going so well. I got back on Monday morning around 7.30 and went straight to bed. When I woke up I was still feeling the effects of four days of drinking and was not in the right frame of mind to play so I decided to wait until Tuesday to get back to it.
I never play if I don't want to, if I feel a bit sick or just not in the form for playing then I usually opt against it. It's usually the best idea as you should be 100% focused at all times.
Not much to report really as it was quite an unexciting session; I played a mix of $5 and $10 STTs and tried a variation of turbos, double ups, double stack, six man and ten man. I think I do better in the regular six man STTs, I have started to get used to them now a little and hope I can move through the stakes more quickly.
My balance finished up at a pretty healthy $320 dollars. Even though I am a little behind schedule it's nice to have something to work with. I'll continue to play STTs for now as they seem to be going ok for me.
I am a bit disappointed that I missed a week due to my holiday, which has set me back a little, but not to worry, I intend to get a good week this week and hope to play a few MTTs and a few results should get me back on track and get me closer to my target. I'll be back in a day or two with updates.

so far so good. good luck with the rest of it. To be able try this proves you must be class player. happy playin
