I finally got started after a sick session on Wednesday night playing until 11am on Thursday morning, so I slept most of yesterday to get ready for my new challenge. I got my $100 dollars lodged into my Boylepoker.com account and saw that I had been awarded 200 bonus dollars, but needing 250 VIP club points to clear each $5 I was unsure as to how long it would take to release this.
So just after midnight I hit the tables, my original plan was to multi table 2c 4c until I had 15 BI to move up to 5c 10c. However as I played a few tables of these games I found it very frustrating and hard to concentrate knowing that the pots involved where pretty much worthless.
I then had a look through the tournament section and the sit and go's and saw that there was only beginner 6 seater sit and go's so I decided that these should be pretty soft. For a few of these I was in the money on level two with people getting knocked out immediately. I managed to release my first $5 dollar bonus and I ended up the night wit 409.40 VIP club points so not long till my next bonus, Woo Hoo!!!!
The cash games where goin ok but after 670 odd hands my win rate was 47 bb/100 and my profit was $12.39 , I thought there is no way I can keep playing these games so that is why I decided to switch to the sit and go's. I got off to a good start winning a $5 dollar 10 Man for $25 but I then stuck to the beginner ones.
My Sharkscope says I played 35 games with a total profit of $33 dollars and an average ROI of 18 %. I am pleased with the results although I had far too many second placed finishes and a few bubbles (2nd is $9 whereas the winner is $21 which is a huge difference at this stage) .
I am a little confused as to my total balance as it stands at $144.64 but adding up my holdem manager cash wins of $12.39, sharkscopes profit of $33 and the $5 dollar bonus it should be $150.39. Before I started tonight, my target was to get to $120 but I had hoped to get to $150 as I would be properly rolled for the 5c 10c games, but just falling a little short I will have to try to get off to a good start tomorrow.
My biggest cash pot was a bit sick by me, I just hated his 3 bet size so I decided to peal a flop , and wat a nice flop to peal :)
